Dear believers, today’s topic it is about a matter each and every one of us Will experience. It is about a cup, each and everyone of us will drink from A journey All of us, we will make this journey, we have the ticket confirmed For this trip before our birth It is about a line up, all of us in this line, Our turn will come Sooner or later It is about a gate, all of us we will go through this gate Sooner or later It is about Death Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala declared in the Quran Every soul shall have the taste of death And whoever removed from the hell fire Admitted into the jannah He succeeded And that means she succeeded My brothers, my sisters, also Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala showed us That when our time comes We can’t bribe the angels, we can’t delay, we can’t forward That when our time comes, we will not be delayed one hour, or rushed ours, Advanced one hour. Its precise my brothers, my sisters And we don’t know really which land we’re going to die into No matter what you think And where you live Allah declared that subhanahu wa'ta'Ala A soul does not know, what’s gonna gain tomorrow from assisteners And a soul does not know, in which land he’s going to die So my brothers, my sisters For those who say I’m so busy I’m extremely busy, I don’t have even time to die, I’m so busy Allah will take care of that, the one who declared Say that death you are running away from Is going to seize you. Its gonna meet us and my brothers When we meet death, there are two realitites Either heaven or hell wal ayad u billah We are unaware of this. Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala declared that in the Quran You are unaware of this And we remove the veil so now your sight is so sharp And that means we either see heaven Or hell wal ayad u billah Death is a tragedy my brothers, my sisters. It is a great tragedy Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala called death as a tragedy in the Quran by declaring But what more tragic than the tragedy of death The tragedy of being Away from Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala The tragedy for not preparing for death The tragedy of not thinking of death. The tragedy of really Completely forgetting about this sure reality This is really is more tragic than the tragedy of death The question here my brothers, my sisters. If we ask ourselves a sincere question This is a reality In privacy my brother and my sister, if you ask yourself A question, the answer could be scary If I die in five minutes Am I ready to meet Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala? If I die in one day Am I ready to meet Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala? Are we ready to meet Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala. The answer Could be really scary my brothers because, This journey is guaranteed. This journey to Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala. Am I ready if I die in five minutes? Am I ready to meet Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala We do ask Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala to give us a long life full of health and happiness and Good deeds but are we ready to meet Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala The …. Saying, increase your takwa. You never know if you live Night time, isha’a time, that you’ll reach fajar time. How many youth, young people, day and night they are laughing They don’t know their coffin ready to hug them How many infants, babies, we look at them and we aim for their long life Soon, their small body enters the darkness of the grave And how many brides, they’re anointed here, decorated here, to look good for her husband Both their soul collected in their wedding nights And how many healthy people How many healthy people drop dead and how many sick people lived a long while Therefore my brothers, my sisters, this is a reality Take a look at this big winner at the time of rasulullah(SAW), a big winner, why? For two reasons at least. He used to carry his crippled mom and dad One reason is a big winner because he used ot carry his mom and dad Crippled couple, handicapped He used to carry them Right to rasulullah(SAW) to perform the salaat, to perform the prayer behind rasulullah(SAW) So this is a great honour Praying behind rasulullah(SAW) is a big win And Carrying his mom and dad, crippled couple Handicapped. To carry them on his back. What a great son One day rasulullah(SAW) looked behind him. The best of Allah’s creation and the most beloved to Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala Rasulullah, the one who used to care about everybody Looked behind him. He couldn’t see The crippled couple. He couldn’t see the handicapped couple. Where are they? He said ya rasulullah. Ya rasulullah their son died. Their son passed away rasulullah(SAW) really touched by that. Closest to the meaning closest to the meaning rasulullah(SAW) said, if there’s anyone worth to be preserved for anyone, it would have been this young man for his crippled parents. My brothers, my sisters, nobody will be preserved. The question here A serious question Do you really know my brother or my sister, what type of a death you can have? You don’t know We ask Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala a kind death. Allahumah-Amin Do we really know my sister, and my brother, what we are going to say as we are suffering, what Headache, no, suffering back ache, no, tooth ache, no, suffering death. Could you imagine somebody suffering death what are we going to say as if we’re lying down, suffering death. Do we know really my brothers, my sisters what are we going to say? And what type of a death but before we go to that part, let us go to rasulullah(SAW) who said Closest to the meaning rasulullah(SAW) is telling us that three Will follow the deceased person, the dead person. Two will go back, one will stay with him and that means one will stay with her One will stay with her One His money And his family and his deeds will follow him. His wealth and his family will go back. His deeds will stay with him His deeds will stay with him, my brothers, my sisters and rasulullah(SAW) Here is showing us that Will stay with us, what we are really doing in this life So that means This grave, this residence that we are building This, I mean residence We built in this life If you’re building a house, what kind of electricity, what kind of appliances What kind of a painting, but the grave, the qabar The residence that we’re gonna live into for many For a long time Do we really know what type of a residence it is? Therefore, if its good deeds, its gonna stay with us and it will be heaven from A garden from heaven If its terrible deeds wal ayad u billah Its pain and agony and whole from hell wal ayad u billah Therefore dear believers rasulullah(SAW) also urged us Increase the mentioning of death. It will shake away from your sins And it will give you Zuhd-an-dis-duniya Zuhd-an-dis-duniya means the love of this life is not in your heart, its in your hand When something’s in your hand, its much easier to handle my brothers, my sisters Dear believers, do we really know, what type of a death we’re gonna have? Do we really know what are we going to say As we are suffering death As we are living the scenario of sakaraat-il-maoot As we are suffering death my brothers, my sisters, what are we going to say? Take a look at the best of Allah’s creation rasulullah(SAW) Muhammad, the most beloved to Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala As he’s lying down suffering sakaraat-il-maoot, he used to say La-ilaha ilalah ina nil maoot ti sakaraat La-ilaha ilalah ina nil maoot ti sakaraat La-ilaha ilalah, death Has Its difficulties Its sufferings This is the best of Allah’s creation Saying that What am I gonna say my brothers, my sisters What are we going to say? You know what we’ll say We have to say That’s Terrible thing could happen to me and my mom If Allah’s not merciful to me Why am I saying this statement? This is the statement of Imam, ameer ul momineen, umer-bin-khita’ab, May Allah be pleased with him When he was suffering death, Stabbed, he said He said leave my cheek on the sand Terrible horrible things to me and to my mom, if Allah is not merciful to me This is a form of showing what a serious situation. What are we going to say, my brothers my sisters, What are we going to say, my brothers, my sisters as we are suffering Death? Abu Huriya, may Allah be pleased with him He was really crying And they asked him He said I’m not crying for the love of this life Or for leaving my loved ones, I’m crying because I’m waiting an answer Am I going to heaven or to hell? He said that as he was suffering death He said that as he was suffering death And here we have to take an important tip from rasulullah(SAW) rasulullah(SAW) told us that none of you shall die except thinking good of Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala and here there’s an important pause. Lets pause and go to an important scenario where rasulullah(SAW) is giving us a huge happy news and a huge tip by showing us that when a person is dying suffering death sakaraat al maoot, but he or she happen to think good of Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala and the mercy of Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala and Allah will not let him down and really grab the mercy of Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala and thinking great and good of Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala but this person at the same time fearing his sins rasulullah(SAW) declared that a person in that scenario grabbing the mercy of Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala, thinking good of Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala but fearing his sins Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala will deliver his mercy to him and will give him security against his sins so we always have to think good of Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala Arabi, one time suffering from death He said What’s happening? They told him you are dying. He said then what? They told him that you’re gonna go to Allah. He said Allah What a happy news. Why am I gonna worry I’m going to the source of goodness. To the source of all type of goodness This is form of thinking good of Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala. Also al Mamoon, what did he say? He said See as he’s suffering death, he said that. What are we going to say as we are suffering death? He said oh Allah, the one whose power is everlasting Have mercy on me, the one who lost his power. This is Al Mamoon Also Al Hajjaj said that Oh Allah, people say That You are not People saying that You are not going to have mercy on me Oh Allah forgive me and have mercy on me. People are saying that You’re not gonna have mercy on me My brothers, my sisters, Therefore, We have to remember, The question here. Am I ready to meet Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala? If I die in five minutes, if I die in one day, if I die whenever death could come, Am I ready to meet Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala? What type of a death am I going to have? What type of a death am I going to have? And what am I going to say as I’m dying? People witnessed those who worked as an ambulance driver, and saviors of people’s lives after Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala he did really testify. They said as we are taking this brother from the car, crushed and really bleeding all over, he was reading the Quran he was reading the Quran and he passed away as he’s reading the Quran. Look at this beautiful scenario and what is he saying. He’s saying the verse of Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala The same people my brothers my sisters, they testified As we are Rescuing This man, he was singing and he died, while he was singing There’s a huge difference between someone who dies And he was singing And the shaitaan is busy with him Or a person Mentioning the verse of Al-Rehman My brothers, my sisters Therefore, it is a serious matter that Are we prepared to meet Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala? Are we prepared for death, Which is the cup, each and everyone of us will drink from Take a look at this Particular Practice The practice of the big winners When you wake up in the morning, before you get up from your bed Or if you happen to sleep on the floor, before you stand You know some of us will make a dua His regular prayers, his regular supplications a dua you make Before you get up Ask yourself a question, which is a reality Today, This is the question for the big winners, by the way, The question itself, it is worshipping of Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala The question itself, it is a business with Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala Today I became closer to my grave than last night, What can I do to get closer to Allah Being pleased with me Pick up any business, I’m going to vacuum the masjid, I’m going to buy my wife a gift I’m going to call somebody and ask him, are you feeling better? I’m going to pay money fi sabil lilalah I’m going to Bring happiness to an orphan, anything, pick up a business There is no way on earth, if you ask yourself this question Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala will see your sincerity, there’s no way, Your day will end up, without Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala sending you a business to do to get closer to Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala And my brothers, my sisters, I will tell you this particular Poetry Which most of you Heard before and some of you asked me about? They don’t know what’s about me They are tossing me and they don’t recognize and realize That they are losing me They brought me a doctor A doctor To treat me No doctor Has a benefit to day for me The death is calling me And ripping my soul The death is calling me and ripping my soul out of my body Now I’m lying, a body with no soul They are tossing me They are Crying for me A stranger came, From my clothes, he stripped me, And a piece of wood he laid me And start bathing me The water is terrifying me The water is terrifying me and white piece of cloth, they are wrapping me Oh Allah, where are they taking me Right in front of the imam they put me and they make salaat and ask Allah to forgive me And to be merciful upon me in the grave, gently, quietly, They put me Oh Allah Nobody’s there for me Oh Allah, no mother, no father, no brother to keep me company Oh Allah have mercy on me in this dark grave. I’m being terrified In this dark grave, I’m scared from munkir and nakeer Oh Allah shower me with your mercy, I do admit I do admit I’m a sinner. Oh Allah forgive me Don’t be a fool with this life. Look what is doing for the people Overnight within a split of a second, what is it changing people’s life What is it doing? Don’t be fool by this life Be happy, even if you are content with the little things Even if you have only the comfort of your body And now my call to my soul My call to every soul Quit sinning And ask Allah to forgive me My brothers, my sisters with the translation I added More or less certain things and I took off but the point here for us To remember if you forget this whole speech Remember one question If you die in five minutes, are you ready To meet Allah subhanahu wa'ta'Ala?
